The brief
Charge AS supports immigrant entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses in Norway. I joined as the social media manager and project manager, working with the team to plan and produce content across LinkedIn and Instagram.
On the recruitment side, I focused on the creative direction and ad monitoring for their flagship programs, including Changemaker, a program helping immigrant founders launch in Norway. The campaigns came together through ongoing collaboration across the team.
What I did
- Managed the LinkedIn and Instagram content calendar with 2 to 3 posts per week across both channels, with input and ideas from teammates along the way
- Produced video content, carousels, and event coverage, including a campaign video for Demo Day
- Edited and produced a video for the Charge Changemaker Campaign
- Other videos I produced for Charge AS include a LEAP demo day reel , an Østfold founder event , and an organic Instagram reel
- Led the creative direction on paid recruitment campaigns through Meta Business Suite and managed the ongoing monitoring of live ads
- Supported campaign messaging and coordinated communication across teams during participant intake
The result
The LinkedIn presence grew from 1,500 to 2,000+ followers within the first six months of 2025, which were also my last few months with the team, hitting our target ahead of schedule. That growth was a combined team effort across content, campaigns, and program work, and I was glad to play a part in it. The recruitment campaigns brought in candidates for programs like Changemaker, helping immigrant founders find their way into the Norwegian startup ecosystem. This was the role where I first got to combine project management, content strategy, and creative production in one place, which has shaped what I look for in work since.
